This project was from my first year engineering course which was during the pandemic leading for all the work on this to be done remotely.
This project focuses on designing a sustainable, efficient, and durable wind turbine blade tailored to meet Sweden's ambitious goal of achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. The team's innovative approach emphasizes eco-friendly materials, aerodynamic efficiency, and long-lasting structural integrity.
Granta EduPack from Ansys was used to filter the desired material properties required for our blade design. We then took calculations alongside a stress simulation to determine the maximum deflection our design would face in operation.
